Terms and Conditions

ONLINE ORDERING: Any complete exhaust systems or header sets listed may require approx. 4 weeks lead time. This is becuase we make alot of our systems custom per order. Please email us at info@stainlessworks.net with any questions.

CHANGE ORDERS AND CANCELLATIONS: Any order which cancels more than forty-eight hours (48) after the order is placed is subject to a 10% cancellation fee. Any change or cancellation must be in writing, sent via fax, or email, or carrier.

SHIPPING: We ship by UPS or FedEx and have overnight delivery available for rush jobs. All pricing is FOB Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

WARRANTY: We offer a limited lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship for all 304 stainless products. Aluminized exhaust systems have a one year warranty. During the life of the product, Stainless Works, at our option, will repair or replace products with defects in materials and workmanship. No allowance for shipping or labor will be given. This warranty is good for the life of the product only on the vehicle for which it was originally purchased. This warranty is void if the Stainless Works product:

· has been installed on a model or vehicle other than for which it was intended

· has been improperly installed

· has been abused by the owner

· has had any wrapping applied to either the muffler, header or exhaust pipe

· has been welded, expanded, or modified in any way

· has been used for racing or off road purposes

Stainless Works warranty will NOT cover discoloration or bluing of the exhaust pipes, muffler, or header. To be eligible for service under the terms of this warranty, purchaser must be able to provide proof of purchase in the form of their original Stainless Works receipt. Shipping back to Stainless Works is the responsibility of the customer. Before shipping, contact either Stainless Works or the dealer from which the product was purchased. Prior written permission and a return goods authorization number must be provided with all warranty claims.

LEAD TIME: Normal lead-time on a non-stock item is 4-6 weeks, depending on regularly scheduled production work. Please verify lead-time for your products when ordering.

PAYMENT TERMS: All accounts are COD company check or money order only, cash in advance, or payment is accepted using Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. For stock catalog items, your credit card will not be billed until the product is shipped.

CUSTOM ORDERS: All custom orders will require 50% non-refundable pre-payment. Custom work is not returnable, and it is solely the customers responsibility to ensure the accuracy of drawings and/or patterns.

DROP SHIPMENTS: A $20 fee will be added to orders requiring drop shipments. We are not responsible for incorrect addresses or mis-shipments when drop shipping.

RETURNS: Prior to returning product, you must call Stainless Works for a returned goods authorization number (RGA). No returns will be accepted without RGA numbers. All returns that are not defective are subject to a 15% restock fee and shipping expenses.
