Stainless Works introduces x-style 304 stainless crossovers. The crossovers are CNC mandrel bent and feature Everlast 304 stainless in diameters ranging from 2 up to 3 ½. The crossover is flat ground and deburred to minimize restrictions, and tig welded together. Manufactured from 304 Stainless, they feature Ό" thick, CNC laser cut flanges, and CNC mandrel bent 1 5/8" primary tubes which transition to 2" intermediate tubes, and then finish into 3" collectors. The headers are completely tig welded together, and are available in either a mill or polished finish. The collector is available with either a 3-bolt flange or a patent pending slip fit design, which allows the exhaust system to slip over the collector and is secured by a stainless T-bolt clamp. Custom sizing and installed oxygen sensor bungs are also available. Dyno tested on Pauls Automotive Engineerings dynojet chassis dyno, the Stainless Works 1 5/8" Tri-Y headers made 36 more horsepower and 22 more ft lbs of torque at the rear wheels than a competitors 1 1/2" tri-Y headers.

The 2005 Ford Mustang GT has a mandrel bent 2 ½ s/s exhaust system from the factory. As the factory tailpipes are mandrel bent, replacing them with pipes that are the same diameter will not lead to a performance increase. The mufflers are the biggest restriction in the factory exhaust system. Stainless Works is proud to announce the purchase of a Trumpf L2510 2000 Watt CNC Laser Cutter. Stainless Works will be able to CNC laser cut various materials ranging from thin foil sheet up to 1/4 thick stainless and 1/2 thick mild steel, and 3/16 aluminum. The Trumpf L2532 can cut 4X10 sheet, and is an extremely precise, CNC laser cutter. Most importantly, it can cut up to 500 inches per minute, making it extremely fast with exceptional edge finish and repeatability. The auto sheet loader and unloader make the machine capable of lights out, unattended operation, which results in lower part costs for Stainless Works customers. Stainless Works is interested in bidding on any CNC laser cutting work, from 2 parts up to 2000, and will not charge set up fees-even for one off parts.
